Overview:
This project was all about coding and making a "computer" do what you want. For this project I had Jacob as my partner. We were assigned to make a light show by coding the Arduino circuit boards that we got this year. The Arduino box came with a booklet that had setups for you to do and then code them to make the lights flash slower or quicker or make the lights flash in different orders. These Arduino boards also came with buzzers that made different notes depending on what you coded it to do. We had a lot of fun during this project with all of the book setups and with creating new ones. This was a project that you could really use your imagination for because you could code the board to do anything.

This is just the basic buzzer setup but we added lights to the buzzer and coded it to make a different song. We played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
Reflection
For this project we were able to use our imagination a lot but we were held back by how much we knew how to code and if the code that we put in would actually register and make the lights light up. This project was still fun and I learned a lot about how to code and what to do when you want to make something buzz or light up. The hardest part was definitely reading the code. When the code wasn't uploading to the board we had to look through the whole script and find something that is making the code not work. What was frustrating was when all you had to do was add or delete a semicolon here or delete a period there, but those little thing would make the code not work so it was a good learning experience on keeping our eyes open and looking very carefully.
